چکیده
Abstract In this work, parallel plate capacitors are numerically simulated by solving weak forms within the framework of finite element method. Two different domains studied. We study infinite capacitor problem and verify implementation deriving analytical solutions with a single layer multiple layers between two plates. Furthermore, we it Love’s potential equation Xiang’s capacitance equation. Moreover, fringing effect is considered extended to problems dielectric layers, such solution not possible means existing solutions. Besides, realize possibility choosing boundary conditions (electric charge density conditions) changing form. Finally, transient that includes loss calculates quality factor presented, which may be used in design. Convergence consistency results demonstrated comparing numerical also from conditions.

Thin plate splines have been used successfully to model curves and surfaces. A new application is in data mining where they are used to model interaction terms. These interaction splines break the \curse of di-mensionality" by reducing the high-dimensional nonparametric regression problem to the determination of a set of interdependent surfaces. However , the determination of the corresponding ...
متن کاملImplementation of a Python Version of a Scaled Boundary Finite Element Method for Plate Bending Analysis
Common finite element programs for plate bending analysis are complicated and limited by the common plate theories. Such programs are usually not user-friendly for designers to implement. Lately, Hou Man et al. from the University of New South Wales has developed a technique for unified 3D plate bending analysis using scaled boundary finite element analysis, which promises to have little restri...

We present a numerical study of several nite element discretizations applied to a benchmark problem for the 2d steady state incompressible Navier{ Stokes equations deened in Schh afer and Turek (1996). The discretizations are compared with respect to the accuracy of the computed benchmark parameters. Higher order isoparametric nite element discretizations turned out to be by far most accurate. ...
